Week’s Summary of Activities on Seascape’s Lighthouse IDO Launchpad
During the course of the week, a series of activities took place in anticipation of Seascape’s first IDO Launchpad project — Moonscape. There has been a lot of excitement among the fans and members of the Seascape community.
Here’s a walk-through of the activities of the week involving the Moonscape project. Firstly, let’s shed light on Moonscape and what the project entails.
Overview of the Moonscape Project
Moonscape is a twist on resource management strategy games. Players explore a futuristic moon, enhance their towns, and receive rewards for their time spent in-game. Moonscape will allow NFTs to be obtained and used directly in the game.
Many players of strategy games spend hours or days improving and upgrading their bases and vehicles. In Moonscape, you can take that hard work and turn it into an NFT that will contain all the data of your city or vehicle, and trade it or sell it.
It is set to launch on Lighthouse, a brand-new initial DEX offering (IDO) launchpad under Seascape Network, which emphasizes DeFi gaming and usability for game developers and prospective GameFi projects on Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Moonbeam.
Activities of the Week
This week featured the following activities which are important activities regarding the launch of Moonscape.
- IDO Registration
- Random Allotments
- Auction Pool
The registration was live till November 17th. Gamers were advised to undergo KYC (Know Your Customer) prior to registering for the IDO. The KYC process is very important in that, it helps gamers know and work with the IDO regulations of their respective countries.
After the KYC process, players could then join the IDO. Only players that passed the KYC and had at least Tier 1 could join the IDO. The beauty of the KYC process is that you only need to undergo it once. You won’t have to do it again for future projects.
Gamers after passing KYC advanced to increase their tier and also register. The lowest tier is -1 and the benefit increases as one advance to higher tiers. Read more about tiers here. At the end of the registration on November 17th, players anticipated the random allocation.
Players chosen for the Random Allotment were given a limited period during which they were to pre-fund their allotment. The pre-fund lasted about four (4) days and ended on November 22nd. At the end of the pre-fund, those who had prefunded got a message alert in the Lighthouse and also via email to start funding.
Any player who didn’t prefund will lose their allotment. This was instead added to their Auction pool. Another important thing is that you will lose your entire Tier after funding for a project with the random allotments, regardless of the Tier you won.
The auction pool went live on the 23rd and lasted only for 24 hours. The auction Pool guarantees users the chance to fund their desired amount.
The auction pool was only open to those who attempted to participate in the Random Allotment and lost, thus they will have at least Tier 1. So far you participate in the fund during the auction pool, you are guaranteed some of the project’s token. Gladly, one can’t completely miss out.
At the end of the Auction Pool, players will receive percentages of the project’s token equivalent to their fund in the pool. Hope you didn’t miss out! This is a surefire way to get $MSCP at the initial price.
The first 100 users who funded the IDO were promised a free Lighthouse NFT, which is separate from the Allocation NFT for the project. These players received the Lighthouse NFT immediately upon the completion of funding.
The first-ever Lighthouse auction pool for Moonscape ended with a bang! Over 50,000 $CWS was burned with over $600,000 raised in total. We can’t thank you enough for your participation. If you couldn’t participate, keep an eye on http://Seascape.House for the next one!
Some Terminologies Common to Moonscape
MSCP is the official token of Moonscape. It is Seascape’s first Player-Created-Coin (PCC). Players can use it in the game to obtain the premium resource MoonDust, which can be used to increase resource harvests, speed up DeFi features, and purchase rare rovers. It’s an incentivized yield token, with no team or advisor allocations.
MoonDust is material unique to the Moonscape ecosystem. It can be obtained by spending MSCP. It is used to provide improvements to buildings and rovers.
